Sylvester Stallone Reflects On The Loss Of 'Expendables 2' Stuntman
The Bbc reports that Kun Liu was killed last October whilst filming in Bulgaria, whilst another performer, Nuo Sum, was seriously injured. Stallone has since been reflecting on the incident, and commented "The stunt team took it very, very hard and shut down for quite a while. It's happened twice before on films I've been on and it's never easy." That's somewhat of an understatement from Stallone, who is currently grieving the loss of his son Sage.
A statement at the time had read "Our hearts go out to the families and those on the production affected by this tragedy." It ultimately didn't stop the shooting of the film, however, and the countdown to its release is just a short time away. What it does go to show, though, is just how serious some of the stunts in such movies can be.
