Swedish House Mafia - Swedish House Mafia And Calvi Among Border Breaker Award Winners
Dance group Swedish House Mafia and British singer Anna Calvi will be honoured at the 2012 European Border Breaker Awards.
The prizegiving celebrates new or emerging European artists who achieve success outside of their homeland with their first international album.
Swedish House Mafia will be hailed for 2010's Until One release, while Calvi has earned praise for her self-titled debut, which landed her a Mercury Music Prize nomination in the U.K.
Next year's awards ceremony will also recognise Dutch DJ Afrojack, Irish folk star James Vincent MCMorrow and French soul singer Ben l'Oncle Soul.
A total of 10 stars from different European nations have been selected as winners and they will all perform at the Eurosonic convention in the Netherlands in January (12).
One honouree will also be chosen as the overall fan favourite from a public vote.
