Swedish House Mafia - Swedish House Mafia Add Sandy Relief Gig To Farewell Tour

12 December 2012

The Dj trio, comprising of producers Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, announced plans to disband in June (12), and will embark on the North American leg of its One Last Tour trek next year (13).

However, they have decided to stage one more live date, dubbed a "black tie rave", at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom on 28 February (13) - on the eve of a big gig at Madison Square Garden - to raise money for the victims of the former hurricane, which devastated America's East Coast in late October (12).

A statement issued by the supergroup reads: "New York City has been a massive part of our journey and there was no better way to say thank you than to help out along with so many other worthwhile events. We had the night off in Nyc before our Madison Square Garden gig... and what better way to spend it!"

Tickets for the special show will be auctioned off later this week (14Dec12), with prices starting at $100 (£62.50), and all proceeds will be donated to the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City and the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.

Swedish House Mafia join a long list of stars doing their bit for Sandy victims - Neil Young, Train, Latin rocker Juanes and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have all performed at benefits or donated concert profits to the cause, while Wednesday night's (12Dec12) 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief mega gig at Madison Square Garden will feature the likes of Sir Paul MCCartney, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, The Who and Bon Jovi.

I think there are reason to say "I am worry, I am worry child" since there are so many singers singing in english language. It appears the english leaders have become a music monopoly corrupting any nation and dragging them to join the english language cult in the name of money and power.
