A Swedish metal band caused controversy in New York on Sunday night (15Jun14) by dousing the audience with animal blood at a gig in Brooklyn.
Watain played their only 2014 U.S. gig at the Brooklyn Night Bazaar venue in New York City, and a number of audience members burst into tears and others vomited after the bizarre stage stunt, according to Tmz.com.
Online reports also suggest a number of gig-goers walked out.
The band is famed for its notoriously gory shows. The rockers have previously performed with goat carcasses on stage and carry out the blood-throwing stunt on a regular basis.
