Police in Russia have arrested a suspect in connection with an acid attack on ballet star Sergei Filin in January (13).
The artistic director of the famed Bolshoi Theatre suffered third degree burns when acid was thrown in his face by an unidentified assailant as he travelled home in Moscow.
Filin, who went to Germany last month (Feb13) to receive treatment on his eyes and face, claims he knows the identity of his attacker, and now cops have arrested "one of the suspects" in connection with the attack.
The unidentified person was reportedly detained in the small town of Stupino on Tuesday morning (05Mar13).
