Susan Sarandon - Susan Sarandon Tells Of Casting Couch Horror

Susan Sarandon has spoken out about her horrific experience on a movie industry 'casting couch' when she was starting out in her acting career.

The Dead Man Walking star reveals she fell victim to sexual exploitation during an audition for an unidentified film as she desperately tried to get a foot on the Hollywood ladder.

The 66-year-old Oscar winner opened up about her past in an interview with U.S. magazine Elle, saying, "I just went into a room, and a guy practically threw me on the desk. It was my early days in New York, and it was really disgusting.

"It wasn't like I gave it a second thought. It was so badly done... It was not successful - for either of us."
