Susan Sarandon Joins Company Film

Susan Sarandon has joined the cast of 'The Company You Might Keep'.

The 'Lovely Bones' actress, Richard Jenkins and Julie Christie are the latest additions to the cast of the movie, which also stars Shia LaBeouf, Nick Nolte and Robert Redford, who is directing the film.

The film - which is based on Neil Gordon's novel - sees a former member of militant organisation Weather Underground (Redford) being forced to go on the run when his real identity is exposed by an ambitious young journalist (Shia LaBeouf) after 30 years in hiding.

Susan and Julie's roles will be as other former Weather Underground members who were accomplices in a bank robbery and whose identities come to light following the exposure of Robert's character, while Richard is to play a college professor with links to the group.

Robert, Bill Holderman and Nicolas Chartier are producing the movie, with Craig J. Flores serving as the executive producer.

'The Company You Might Keep' is set to start shooting in Vancouver next month.
