The I Dreamed A Dream singer shot to fame on U.K. TV show Britain's Got Talent in 2009, when she was an unemployed spinster from a tiny Scottish town.

She has since gone on to sell millions of albums, garnering her a fortune, but the famously frugal star still resides in the same small house she lived in with her late mother.

And Boyle is no more lavish when it comes to her festive gift wish-list - she simply wants a tent to pitch at Scottish music festival T In The Park, as well as a boxset of U.K. TV hit Downton Abbey.

She says, "I'd like a tent to take with me to T in the Park and I'd also like the Downton Abbey box set, because it's one of my favourite series."

And the kind singer is also eyeing a present for her pet cat, adding, "I'm hoping for a collar for my cat Pebbles."
