LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, QUINCEANERA and TV shows BROTHERS + SISTERS and UGLY BETTY are among the nominees for the 18th annual Gay + Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards.
The organisation honours individuals and projects in the media and entertainment industry for "fair and accurate" portrayals of gays.
Special honorees at this year's ceremony will include Patti Labelle and fashion designer Tom Ford.
Meanwhile, GLAAD officials have selected an episode of medical drama GREY'S ANATOMY among those short listed for an Outstanding Individual Episode award.
GLAAD leaders have met with Grey's Anatomy star Isaiah Washington to discuss the ongoing controversy surround his use of the word "faggot" at the Golden Globe Awards.
The awards will be handed out in April (07).
