THE SUGABABES have been confirmed as the headline act at this year's Cornbury Festival in Oxfordshire.
Other acts that are scheduled to appear at July's event include THE MAGIC NUMBERS, SCOUTING FOR GIRLS and THE DAMNED.
Commenting on the line-up, promoter Hugh Phillimore said: "There aren't any festivals in the UK that could mix Sugababes with The Damned! We're very proud of our musical diversity and family friendly ethos."
SHARLEEN SPITERI, THE PRETENDERS, and EDDI READER have also signed up for slots at the festival.
Meanwhile, THE SUGABABES have recently denied speculation that they are on the verge of splitting up.
The band rubbished claims they were taking an indefinite hiatus after underwhelming sales of their sixth album CATFIGHTS AND SPOTLIGHTS.
"Things are going great - they have a jampacked diary for 2009," the group's spokesman told The Mirror. "It's complete rubbish that the Sugababes are splitting up."
