Suede - Suede Were Picky About Comeback Concert

The Britpop band split in 2003 but began talking about a comeback in the late 2000s.

They agreed to perform a one-off show when the time was right - and they eventually decided to put on a gig for the Teenage Cancer Trust in 2010.

Bassist Mat Osman tells Britain's The Sun, "We were really careful about any comeback. We didn't do shows until we were certain it was going to be something special. But it was a special night and such a special gig and we all had sleepless nights leading up to it."

Frontman Brett Anderson adds, "If someone had offered us a ton of money to do a gig, we would've said no."

The reunited band is set to release new album Bloodsports on Monday (18Mar13).
