Sturgess Took Sleeping Pill From Coolio
British actor Jim Sturgess was so starstruck when he came face to face with rapper Coolio on a plane trip from London to America he accepted a sleeping pill from the Gangsta's Paradise hitmaker.
The Across The Universe star struck up conversation with the hip-hop veteran while they were waiting for the flight to take off and he was so thrilled to discover Coolio knew who he was, he popped a mystery pill his fellow passenger offered him to help him relax.
Sturgess says, "I guess (it was) to shut me up, I don't know. Thinking back to it now, it was pretty crazy of me to just accept a pill... It could have been anything.
"It all went a bit blurry after that... I'd like to think that it was a good sleeping pill and I slept on the flight, but I could have been rolling around naked, playing with his hair, telling him that I loved him."
