Streisand Tickets To Cost Up To £500
Tickets for Barbra Streisand's first UK concert in 13 years will sell for up to £500, with the cheapest tickets going for about £100.
The singer and actress will play the O2 Arena - formally the Millennium Dome - on July 18th marking her first performance in London since 1994.
Top seats to see the Rolling Stones at the same venue this summer were priced at £150 and other acts have charged even less.
The award-winning star said: "What a joy it will be to perform in so many wonderful countries for the first time.
"I can't wait to experience these different audiences and different cultures."
Streisand's recent US tour, her first in six years, broke box office records in 14 out of the 16 venues she played, although she still holds the records at the other two venues for previous tours.
The singer's European tour will also call at Vienna, Nice, Dublin and Paris, marking a significant comeback for the best-selling artist.
She remains the music industry's highest-selling female with 50 gold and 30 platinum albums as well as 13 multi-platinum albums and is only second in the all-time charts to Elvis Pressley.
The star's promoters said that the concerts were the most-anticipated of the year and that proceeds from the tour will support philanthropic initiatives through the Streisand Foundation.
