Stone + Hathaway Headline Mini-wattstax For Hayes

Angie Stone and DONNY HATHAWAY's daughter LALAH are to recreate a mini-Wattstax show on Saturday (27Sep08) to honour late great soul man Isaac Hayes, who headlined the 1972 music festival.
The two women and singer Anthony Hamilton will perform as part of the 2008 Angel City Classic at the Los Angeles Coliseum, where Hayes and his Stax labelmates performed to a sell-out crowd in the early 1970s.
The Angel City Classic will also feature a step show showdown and an American football clash between Morehouse College and Prairie View A+M. Hayes died in August (08).
