Stevens Comes To The Rescue Of Damsel In Distress
Actor Fisher Stevens rushed to the rescue of a drunken woman in New York at the weekend (14-15Jun08) after witnessing her fall to the ground.
The unnamed female was stumbling along in the West Village when she tripped up - and the former Early Edition TV star, who had seen her accident from across the road, ran over to help her get back on her feet.
The woman was stunned when she realised who her hero was, but was so intoxicated she just wandered off after the incident.
A source tells the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, "She recognised him but couldn't remember his name. She said, 'Are you...? Yeah!' and then stumbled away."
