Steven Tyler - Steven Tyler Trying Not To Swear On Live American Idol Shows

Steven Tyler is worried his excitement about the talent on the current series of American Idol could land him in trouble - because he'll happily curse on live TV if he enjoys a performance.
The Aerosmith rocker has become an instant hit on the U.S. TV talent show for his supportive comments and outlandish quips.
But the star fears TV executives could soon lose faith in him because he's convinced he'll swear during the show's live stages.
He tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "I really love Idol. There's a lot of talent and some great kids out there. Now we are seeing 15-year-olds who seem like they are 28. We are taping live now, and I am trying not to swear, but sometimes you've just got to be emphatic. If someone is f**ing good, I'm going to say it."

Tyler has definitely show a capacity to deliver that was unexpected so I tend to not see any reason why he's going to stop delivering now. He has been impressive so far and has definitely shown he can live up to what is expected of him. And, who would have guessed that. I kind of had mixed feelings about him especially knowing some of his actions in the past such as making a comment that even made Madonna blush, but he has shown a capacity to adjust to the venue he is in. Who knows though, Aerosmith has made some mistakes such as the "Done With Mirrors" album and the weak follow-up to "Get a Grip." Doing right with Idol means basically keeping up the same charm that transformed his image. The man is no doubt a charmer and everyone has seen a really terrific image of him. I hope Aerosmith follows up with Tyler's success by getting back in the number #1 spot on the charts. If he, and they, do that, they will truly have learned from their past mistakes. Tyler is, without question, the dominant force on AI. His charm and wit launched him into a legendary status. It is only a matter of time before he has a TV star on the walk of fame...
