The Aerosmith frontman and American Idol judge reveals he had a spiritual awakening while playing near his home as a child - and it was such a magical experience he has devoted his life to try and find that solace again.

He explains, "I saw this place in the woods where the sun was coming through and I'm walking around with my slingshot at nine years old... It was so quiet in there I thought I heard something called the children of the woods.

"It was my first spiritual moment... and I've always been writing songs to try to get back to that moment."
