The Father of the Bride star and his wife Anne Stringfield welcomed the baby in December (12) but managed to keep their happy news under wraps until now.

A source tells the New York Post gossip column Page Six, "They've had a baby, and how they kept it a secret nobody knows. Steve's very private. They are thrilled. They worked hard to have the baby."

Martin married his second wife Stringfield in 2007 at a surprise ceremony where celebrity guests including Tom Hanks and Diane Keaton arrived expecting a party.
