Stephen Graham has landed a role in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides'.
The British actor - best known as intimidating character Combo in 2006 crime drama 'This is England' - will play the character Scram in the fourth instalment in the movie franchise, Production Weekly reports.
The movie, which stars Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, will be directed by Rob Marshall, with production by Jerry Bruckheimer.
Fellow Brit star Ian McShane is also due to make an appearance in the movie as the villainous pirate Blackbeard, alongside fellow newcomer Penelope Cruz.
Stars from the previous three films, including Keira Knightley, Orlando Bloom and Mackenzie Crook, will not be reappearing.
Johnny Depp recently revealed he loves portraying eccentric Captain Jack, and says is excited to begin shooting the sequel.
He said: "I can't wait to get back in costume. Some people will say, 'Aha Depp sold out by doing the sequels.'
"But it was never an issue for me. I love Captain Jack so much I'd do 'Pirates 7' if they asked."
Filming is due to begin on 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' this summer ahead of a cinema release in May 2011.
