Former Dynasty star Stephanie Beacham is ditching her glamorous appearance in favour of grey hair for a new British sitcom about pensioners.
Beacham, 66, who played sultry Sable Colby in the popular U.S. soap opera, will join British comedian Russ Abbot and actress Alison Steadman in new Bbc comedy Grey Matters, which is set in Norfolk, England.
The show, which follows a group of old age pensioners (Oap) living in the countryside, began filming on Tuesday (24Sep13).
In a post on Twitter.com, Jimmy Mulville, of production company Hat Trick, writes, "Shooting a very funny pilot for Bbc1 with a great cast including the peerless Russ Abbot, Alison Steadman and Stephanie Beacham."
