Stella Mccartney Wanted Affordable Range

Stella McCartney would have found it "wrong" to make her children's line expensive.
The designer recently launched Stella McCartney Kids and says while she wanted the clothes to be high quality she knew it was important for them to be affordable to lots of people.
She said: "I just find it wrong to do a kids' line and be incredibly expensive, purely by dint of being a designer brand.
"Children's clothes have become disposable in order to be accessible. I wanted to do affordable and accessible kids clothes that are still timeless with a great quality that you would want to pass down for generations."
Stella is currently pregnant with her fourth child and admits her three children - Miller, five, Bailey, four, and two-year-old Beckett - were her inspiration behind the designs as well as fellow parents.
She told The Times newspaper: "By default, the kids are involved. They are the most important things in my life and in my brain at all times. I am always aware of their likes and dislikes. But I try to think beyond my own personal experience and think of older kids and their needs. I thought a lot about parents, too, and how to make designs that would be great as gifts."
