Stella Mccartney Turns 40 With Star-studded Bash

Stella Mccartney celebrated her 40th birthday with a star-studded party last night (13.09.11).

The Fashion designer - daughter of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney and his late wife Linda - held the bash at exclusive London venue Asprey House, where she was joined by close friends Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow and U2 frontman Bono.

Dad Paul arrived with fiance NANCY SHEVELL - who he is due to wed this weekend - while Kate Hudson and fiance Matt Bellamy also turned up and looked fresh faced despite becoming parents to son Bingham in July.

Other celebrities also attending the birthday event included actress Jamie Winstone, designer TOM FORD and actor Alfie Allen - brother of singer Lily.

Every guest received personalised mugs by mother-of-four Stella and supermodel Kate was pictured with hers as she left the swanky venue.

After the bash many guests went on to the nearby Groucho Club for an afterparty with many staying out into the early hours.
