Stein Trial Delayed Over 'Wardrobe Malfunction'
The trial of a woman accused of murdering THE RAMONES manager LINDA STEIN has been delayed after she was brought to court in an orange jail jumpsuit - which was deemed unsuitable for the hearing.
Punk rock pioneer and celebrity real estate broker Stein was found beaten to death in her New York apartment in October 2007.
Her personal assistant, Natavia Lowery, has been charged with the 62 year old's murder and was hauled into court on Monday (11Jan10) for jury selection proceedings.
But the 28 year old's attire was deemed unsuitable for the court date, causing officials to cancel the planned appearance and push it back until Tuesday (12Jan10) to allow Lowery to return in civilian clothes, according to the New York Post.
Lowery has pleaded not guilty and faces 25 years to life behind bars if convicted.
