Professor Green - Stars Slam Fans Over Cher Lloyd Festival Walk-off

British rappers Professor Green and Example have blasted revellers who hurled a bottle of urine at pop star Cher Lloyd during a festival set on Sunday (19Aug12).
The Want U Back hitmaker was performing at V Festival in Chelmsford, England when a missile landed on stage, prompting her to walk off mid-song.
Lloyd later returned to finish her show, but now two other British stars who were performing at the event have slammed the phantom bottle-thrower.
In a series of posts on Twitter.com, Professor Green writes, "Someone needs to have a word with themselves. How f**king disgusting can people be? Chin up Cher Lloyd.
"I got hit with a pound coin once. I suspect it cost the person who threw it more than it did me. It's easier to walk away from a stage if you don't like an artist than it is to fill a bottle with p**s and launch it, surely?"
Stay Awake hitmaker Example adds, "Whilst I'm not a fan of Cher Lloyd I don't think anyone deserves bottles of p**s thrown at them. Stick to plain old booing in future people."
Former The X Factor contestant Lloyd took to Twitter.com after the incident to thank fans for their messages of support, writing, "Thank you so much for all the nice messages, shame that a couple of people had to ruin it, unfortunately a glass bottle got thrown at me on stage.Tomorrow is another day."
