Stars Shine For Jay-z
The stars came out for the opening night of rap mogul JAY-Z's five-city mini-tour on Tuesday (06Nov07) - Sean Combs and Jermaine Dupri served as backing dancers during the hitmaker's encore.
And Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter handed over part of his House of Blues show in Los Angeles to proteges Beanie Sigel, Freeway and Memphis Bleek.
As well as performing tracks from his new album American Gangster, the rapper also treated the packed house to hits like 99 Problems and rare tunes like Hovi Baby.
Jay-Z's new album, which was released on the same day, is expected to become his 10th number one on next week's U.S. album chart.
