Stars Reunite To Salute Spelling
Original CHARLIE'S ANGELS stars KATE JACKSON, FARRAH FAWCETT and JACLYN SMITH reunited at the Emmy Awards on Sunday night (27AUG06) to remember producing legend AARON SPELLING. After a host of clips highlighting some of the producer's hit shows, the Angels then appeared on stage to the delight of the crowd. Jackson gave a moving tribute to Spelling, which brought a number of people to tears, including Spelling's widow CANDY. Fawcett and Smith also spoke and the tribute segment was introduced by stars from Spelling's other hit series including STEPHEN COLLINS, HEATHER LOCKLEAR and JOAN COLLINS. Spelling's daughter TORI received a last-minute invitation to attend the ceremony, amid rumours of a rift in the family between Tori and her mother Candy. Candy sat with her son, RANDY, and dabbed tears with a white lace handkerchief, while a teary-eyed Tori sat away from her family with new husband DEAN MCDERMOTT. Smith said of their appearance, "We do see each other from time to time. It's fun to hold hands and walk out on the stage as though time had stopped."
