Beth Ditto - Stars Come Out For Keys' Charity Fundraiser
Beth Ditto, Boy George and Mark Ronson were among the stars who joined Alicia Keys in London on Wednesday (15Jun11) to raise money for charity.
The celebrities showed up at the Roundhouse venue in Camden for the annual Keep a Child Alive Black Ball, which was hosted by Keys, to help raise money for victims of Hiv and Aids in Africa.
The star-studded audience, which also included Keys' husband Swizz Beatz and actress Naomie Harris, was treated to a special duet by Keys and Boy George - on the night of his 50th birthday - as well as a performance by singer Paloma Faith.
Keys later took to her Twitter page to thank her guests, writing, "Tonight was Soooo incredible!!! I'm so proud of what we were able to do tonight!! Thank you for being a part of such a special night!
"What a night! Black Ball was magical. Thanks to the London community for coming together to help save children's lives."
George Michael was due to headline the event, but was forced to pull out at the last minute due to a tooth infection.
