Peter Andre has become a huge fan of 'Star Trek'.

The singer and reality TV star took a holiday to Spain with his children earlier this year - Junior, six, and four-year-old Princess Tiaamii, with ex-wife Katie Price - and took of the luxury villa they were in, to discover the sci-fi series on a huge screen.

He said: "Me and the kids were in Spain having a holiday while they were on half-term.

"It wasn't actually that warm but we were staying in an amazing villa with a beautiful view and it was really nice to have a change of scenery.

"The villa had a cinema room and Carl, my tour manager, who came away with us, made us watch all the 'Star Trek' films. I can't believe I've never seen them before, they're amazing!"

While the new 'Trekkie' - as fanatics of the show are called - appreciates all the messages of support he gets from fans and followers, he finds being followed by a camera crew everywhere exhausting, and after having a little time off is now looking forward to a big break over the Christmas period.

He added: "I'll have a big break over Christmas, which will be great. It'll be nice to have some time with the family away from work and the cameras.

"But, I'm overwhelmed by how many of you have been tuning in and I appreciate all the love on twitter - it means a lot."
