British actor Terence Stamp had a unique way of quashing rumours he was having a gay affair with SIR Michael Caine in the 1960s - by sleeping with hundreds of women. The Superman baddie shared a flat with the Alfie star, and the pair's friendship caused rumours regarding their sexuality to surface. But Caine admits his pal Stamp devised a cunning plan to end the allegations forever. Caine says, "I said (to Stamp), 'You realise that people are saying we're gay?' He said, 'Write down their names.' "A long time later, Stamp said, 'They won't say I'm gay anymore. Don't worry.' He's gone round and seduced every woman they were connected with."
