Stallone Honoured By Philly Fans
Stallone has recently finished shooting comeback movie ROCKY BALBOA in the Pennsylvanian city and insists he would never have made it as an actor if Philadelphia hadn't backed 1976 original ROCKY.
During his visit to the Lincoln Financial Field, where the Philadelphia Eagles played the Carolina Panthers, Stallone said, "Philadelphia's been like a real safe haven for me.
"The reason I'm here today is because of Philadelphia. They just backed the film.
"It was a real perfect blend of the character, which really represented the people of Philadelphia. It just was a lucky accident it all came together."
