Cheap Trick - Stage Company To Blame For Cheap Trick Collapse

Investigators looking into the stage collapse that almost cost the members of Cheap Trick their lives have ruled poor workmanship was responsible for the 2011 Cisco Bluesfest disaster in Ottawa, Ontario.

The rigging came crashing down on the band's equipment minutes before the rockers were set to take to the stage and now a group of health and safety officials, who have reviewed the incident, have declared officials and workers at Quebec firm Groupe Berger were responsible.

The noted 19 failings under the Occupational Health and Safety act, and ruled that these combined to bring the stage crashing down in high winds, injuring three people.
