Rick Springfield - Springfield Doesn't Want Fans Upset With Naked Scenes

Pop veteran RICK SPRINGFIELD fears his more conservative fans will be shocked when he bares all on upcoming episodes of controversial U.S. drama CALIFORNICATION.

The beloved Jessie's Girl singer is testing his wholesome image by stripping for David Duchovny's offbeat show - and he only hopes his fans will be able to smile about his new look.

He says, "I had to sign a clause in the contract saying I understood that there was going to be nudity and simulated sex.

"I certainly have no objection to taking my clothes off and on this show, I knew I wasn't gonna be the only naked person.

"(My fans) in the Bible Belt (conservative U.S. states) might be offended, but hopefully they all have great senses of humour."
