Spider-man To Take Over New York

SPIDER-MAN is set to spin a web over New York next week (14APR07) after landing a premiere at Robert De Niro's Tribeca Film Festival almost a month ahead of the film's worldwide release.
As well as the celebrity-studded gala premiere at the Kaufman Astoria on 14 April (07), the film will also screen for free at select cinemas across the Big Apple - but just for the day.
To add to the excitement, Spider-man stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst will attend the Queens premiere and will arrive at the screening backed by a marching band.
The event is being billed as the first major premiere ever to hit the borough.
