Spector Jury Sworn In

LATEST: Twelve jurors were sworn in in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday (19Apr07) ahead of music producer PHIL SPECTOR's murder trial. The Wall Of Sound creator, 67, is accused of the fatal shooting of actress LANA CLARKSON, who was found dead in his Alhambra, California mansion on 3 February 2003. Nine men and three women were chosen out of 100 potentials, who have been filling in questionnaires earlier this week (begs16Apr07). Spector has pleaded not guilty and is free on $1 million (GBP510,000) bail. Prosecution and defence opening statements are expected to begin at the end of April (07). The trial is expected to last between two to three months.
