Spacey To Star As Cult Leader?
Actor Kevin Spacey is in talks to chill U.S. TV audiences as the star of a new series based on a charismatic cult leader.
Network executives at HBO have confirmed they are closing a deal to create drama series The Crux, pitched by Spacey and director/writer Rod Lurie last spring (09).
The show will chronicle the life of the leader of a high-profile cult and Spacey is in talks to star, reports industry publication Variety.
A production schedule had yet to be released as WENN went to press.
