Soundgarden: Rock Has Lost Its Place - Comments and Message Board

I agree with Mr. Cornell. Moreover, good Jazz, which was fairly abundent when I was young, has largely flown as well. People like Frank Zappa, John McGlaughlin, Al DiMeola, Chick Corea, George Duke , Billy Cobham,etc., people who worked very hard to become good at their craft, aren't heard from. It's a shame. It's almost as if Music is being replaced by frivolousness and vulgarity. At least with Mr. Zappa, vulgarity was very clever.
