Soulja Boy - Soulja Boy Facing Military Boycott
U.S. officials have threatened to ban Soulja Boy's upcoming album from military base stores if it includes his anti-army song Let's Be Real.
Bosses at the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (Aafes), which oversees merchandise sold on military bases, will not stock the rapper's Respect My Hustle on their shelves if the controversial track makes the final cut.
The rapper came under fire earlier this week (beg05Sep11) after releasing a promo for Let's Be Real, which contains the line, "F**k the Fbi and the army troops... fighting for what? Be your own man..."
Soulja Boy has since apologised, but Ltc Thomas Shrader from the Aafes tells Tmz.com the lyrics "are unacceptable and not the kind of thing we would want to market".
Aafes bosses will re-evaluate the boycott if Soulja Boy decides not to feature the song on his album.
