Snooki Reveals Pregnancy Workout Secrets
Snooki, aka Nicole Polizzi, has dished on her secrets for maintaining a healthy physique throughout pregnancy. The once hard-partying Jersey Shore star has mellowed since falling pregnant with her first child, and says she turned to her partner-in-crime, JENNY FARLEY, for fitness tips and tricks.
The pregnant star told US Weekly magazine, "The motivation is key, and I'm lacking that right now, but I go on my Bowflex once a week". Snooki's best friend JWoww is currently dating body builder Roger Matthews, so is therefore in a position to pass on fitness tips, saying, "I know a lot of pregnant girls and I made a pregnancy routine for Nicole at the gym so she can go with us - very light and easy. When her belly gets bigger, she needs to be able to support [the baby] And then pregnancy yoga, which I don't have to teach, because I don't know". The pair star in the premiere of new MTV spin-off series 'Snooki and JWoww' on Thursday (June 21, 2012), though there'll be none of the debauchery they were known for on Jersey Shore. In fact, Snooki is anxious for her friend to experience the joys of motherhood, saying, "I don't want to have play dates with any celebs - I'm a normal person, so probably just my family and friends that have kids.I'm waiting for her to get knocked up!".
The new series will focus on Polizzi and Farley living together in a former firehouse in Jersey City, New Jersey.
