Snooki: 'I work while my son sleeps'

Snooki works when her son naps.

The 'Jersey Shore' star - whose real name is Nicole Polizzi - gave birth to her first child Lorenzo just over four months ago and while juggling motherhood and a career is challenging, she is adjusting well.

She told OK! magazine: ''I stay at home probably 95 per cent of the time and I work a lot at home through emails and designing so it all works out. I love being home with my son, and when he takes naps, that's when I get to work!''

Snooki has launched her own sunless tanner, 'Snooki' by Nicole Polizzi for Supre Tan, because the star - who is engaged to Lorenzo's father Jionni LaValle hated not being able to tan during her pregnancy.

She explained: ''For the duration of my pregnancy, it definitely sucked not to go tanning, but I was 100 per cent dedicated to taking care of myself so I would have a healthy beautiful baby and if that meant giving up tanning, I did it!

''I've always been into fashion and it was a dream of mine to create my own designs, so given the opportunity to be on 'Jersey Shore' and being able to create my own brand is just amazing and I'm so thankful everyday to my fans and supporters who always have my back.''
