Smith Credits Dawson As His Muse
Director Kevin Smith loved working with actress Rosario Dawson so much, she became his muse for his latest movie.
The cult filmmaker credits the star with inspiring him to write the leading role of Miri in Zack And Miri Make A Porno, after he directed Dawson in Clerks II last year (06).
Smith tells MTV, "I wrote (the role of Miri) for Rosario Dawson. I'd be kind of flabbergasted if she didn't do it."
But a spokesperson for the actress insists she has not yet accepted the part, saying, "No deal is in place at the moment."
The movie, which is slated for release next year (08), tells the story of two friends who launch an amateur porn studio.
