Former child star Taran Noah Smith has been charged with cannabis possession stemming from his arrest earlier this month (Feb12).
The actor, best known for his role in U.S. comedy show Home Improvement, was pulled over in Los Angeles County and cited for driving under the influence of marijuana.
He was arrested after cops searched the vehicle and found drugs. He has now been charged for misdemeanour possession, according to Tmz.com.
If found guilty he faces up to 18 months behind bars and a $1,500 (£937) fine.
He is due back in court next month (Mar12).
