Slayer Ends European Tour Early
Heavy metal supergroup SLAYER have mysteriously cancelled their appearances at two Scandinavian festivals this summer (07).
In a posting on Slayer's website, the group has announced it will end its European tour early on 1 July (07), which means planned shows at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark and Finland's Ruisrock festival have been scrapped.
In a statement, the band writes, "We know that many of you have looked forward to hearing Slayer live, and that this announcement will be received with disappointment. We can only agree - it really is a shame."
Dates on Slayer's joint tour with MARILYN MANSON in Europe and North America aren't expected to be effected by the news.
