Slash Supports New Guns N' Roses Album
Guitarist SLASH has voiced his support for Guns N' Roses' hugely anticipated new album - despite walking out on the group more than 10 years ago.
The rocker officially announced his departure in 2006 after blazing rows with bandmate Axl Rose over the musical direction Guns N' Roses was taking.
He went on to form Velvet Underground, but confesses he's as impatient as everyone else to hear the long-overdue Chinese Democracy record - Guns N' Roses' first album of original material in 14 years.
He says, "I'm sure (Chinese Democracy's) got some amazing s**t on it cos I know Axl and what he's capable of. So I'm interested to hear it but patient enough to wait until he figures it out.
"Because I don't have anything to do with it, it's easy for me to say that."
