In a press release, The Blackout said: 'Slam Dunk has always been a great festival to play. It's just a massive party. We're super excited to be playing it again and there are some cracking bands playing that we're all excited to see too.'

Say Anything frontman Max Bemis commented: 'We are so very excited to return to the UK on such a great bill... It's literally one of my favorite places to play shows in the world. We're honored!!'

The aforementioned bands will be playing alongside previously announced acts such as Cancer Bats; Forever The Sickest Kids; The King Blues; Every Time I Die and headliners Taking Back Sunday.

The seventh annual Slam Dunk Festival will be held on 26th May, 2012 at Leeds University and 27th May, 2012 at the University of Hertfordshire (Hatfield campus). In addition, there will also be two 'stripped down' festivals at Glasgow O2 ABC on May 29th, 2012 and Cardiff University on May 28th.
