Sister Bliss says Swedish House Mafia are like a ''crude and reduced'' Faithless.

The DJ and producer thinks the Scandinavian dance collective have a similar sound to her group - who disbanded last year after their 'Passing the Baton' tour - but without the ''subtlety''.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: ''I think their sound is very Faithless-y in a way but a very crude and reduced kind of Faithless. But I think without the kind of lyrical integrity maybe, and the subtlety in the sound.

''There's a different kind of energy with a lot of the guys who are making dance music now, who really just want to write to get that instant thing. I like that out music has had more twists and turns in it.''

The 'Insomnia' musician also told how Faithless never thought they would have and radio hits because their tracks were too long and uncommercial.

She added: ''We have never set out to make hit records, and they grew into that really, the original tracks all evolved over eight long and interesting minutes. They were on The Other Side of the underground, if you take 'God is a DJ' or 'We Come 1' they weren't big cheesy, obvious records.''
