Sir Roger Moore Gave Up Skiing Over Snowboarding Accidents
Sir Roger Moore was forced to give up skiing after he was involved in a number of nasty accidents on the slopes.
The 84-year-old James Bond star, who lives in Switzerland, kept up his favourite pastime despite his advancing years, but admits he finally had to quit after he suffered a number of nasty knocks from snowboarders.
He tells British newspaper The People, "I have stopped skiing because I'm nervous about all the snowboarders. I've been hit by a couple. It's really knocked my confidence. It's much more difficult getting up at my age."
