Sir Paul Mccartney - Sir Paul Mccartney Announces Two Impromptu UK Gigs

It has been announced that SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY will play two shows in the UK this December. The first of which will take place at HMV Apollo, Hammersmith, London on December 18th 2010 and the second will follow two days later (December 20th) in his hometown of Liverpool at the O2 Academy.
This will be the first time Sir Paul has appeared at the Liverpool O2 Academy. It's been 35 years since MCCartney's last gig at Hammersmith Apollo when he played with Wings; he first played the Apollo in 1964 on December 24th for a special BEATLES Christmas show.
Speaking about the gigs Paul made this short statement: "I always love playing to a home audience and for me it's the perfect way to end the year. We've had great fun with the stadium shows this year and we're looking forward to the more intimate vibe of these ones. Christmas is the perfect excuse for everyone to let their hair down and rock out. We are looking forward to celebrating with the good people of London and Liverpool".
Tickets are set to go on sale tomorrow (December 8th) at 10am, tickets are limited to 4 per person.
Tickets for the London show are price at 60.00 GBP for stalls standing; circle reserved seat 125.00 GBP & 100.00 GBP; rear circle standing 50 GBP.
Tickets for the Liverpool show are all standing and priced at 50GBP.
