Brandon Flowers, Emeli Sande and Dionne Warwick are auctioning off signed items to help provide clean water for the world's poorest people.

Bosses at WaterAid are putting a number of items signed by Q Award winners under the hammer via online auction site eBay.com.

The lots include a Gibson guitar signed by The Killers frontman Flowers and clothing from the Merc fashion range featuring the autographs of stars including Warwick, actor Martin Freeman, The Cribs, former The Smiths rocker Johnny Marr, and The Charlatans singer Tim Burgess.

Sande, who has signed a Merc jacket, says, "I'm delighted to support the Q Awards and WaterAid auction. Water is essential for life, and millions of people around the world don't have access to this basic service. Every penny raised from this auction will go towards bringing clean water to some of the world's poorest people, so please bid today and help to transform someone's life forever."

The auction is open from 6-16 December (12).
