Freckle-faced Australian Singer Ricki-lee Coulter Has Fired Back At Critics After The Star Was Branded "Ugly" For Sharing A Make-up Free Selfie Online.
The former Australian Idol star uploaded the au naturel photo on her Facebook page on Tuesday (29Sep15) as a celebration of self-love.
"When I was a little girl I hated my freckles but one day my Pop told me they were just a whole lot of beauty spots & that girls with freckles are special," she wrote. "Now I love them!"
The 29 year old's snap drew mixed reactions from Facebook users, with some praising her for going make-up free, while others attacked her and posted hateful comments about her freckles.
One rude message read, "You one ugly b**ch without make up", while another stated, "You are full of s**t. Freckles are just that and no amount of platitudes will make them sun kisses. They are solar damage? Get over it and wear sun screen".
Ricki-Lee refused to stand for the cyber bullying and returned to the site on Wednesday (30Sep15) to hit back.
"It makes me so sad that there are people out there that are so miserable in their own lives that they will turn a candid moment and a beautiful memory into something negative and nasty," she states. "Please - do me and everyone else here a favour and unlike my page, then go and get yourself a life."
Corgan took to Instagram to confirm rumours of new Pumpkins material, saying the first songs could arrive as early as May.
