Alabama Shakes - Singer Brittany Howard Robbed At Gunpoint

Alabama Shakes star Brittany Howard was mugged at gunpoint in Tennessee on Saturday night (15Dec12).

The singer was outside the Nashville home of music producer Andrija Tokic with members of the band Clear Plastic Masks when they were approached by two sweatshirt-clad teenage boys, who ran off with their cell phones and some petty cash.

No one was injured and the incident was reported to police, who are still trying to identify the assailants as they investigate the crime.

However, Tokic tells local publication The Nashville Scene they refused to let the robbery ruin their evening and later headed out to attend a concert by rockers The Whigs.
